Queste le news che il Tekfestival vi propone a marzo 2007.

1.- Le prime anticipazioni sul programma del tekfestival 2007

2.- Il 28 febbraio 2007 e' scaduto il termine per iscriversi alla 6/a edizione del Tekfestival. Moltissime le opere iscritte.

3.- Il 6 aprile a bologna Bears on Film. Retrospettiva dedicata al mondo degli "Orsi".

4.- Prosegue la campagna "Sostieni le tue visioni" e associati al Tekfestival.

I luoghi del festival 07
La prima novità della prossima edizione è che la programmazione interesserà diversi luoghi della città. Due le sale cinematografiche principali: il Cinema Farnese e la Sala Trevi. A questi, si affiancheranno altri spazi dove avranno luogo alcuni "eventi collaterali": videoinstallazioni, mostre fotografiche, dibattiti, feste.

Epicentro Ursino Romano presenta "Bears on Film", una retrospettiva dedicata al fantastico mondo degli Orsi. Un excursus profondo e sfaccettato, all'interno di una cultura omosessuale che si esprime intorno alla definizione e rappresentazione e alla de-simbolizzazione di genere maschile attraverso una serie di codici estetici, culturali, sociali e sessuali. La rassegna cinematografica é il frutto di un lavoro condotto da anni all'interno della sezione queer di "Phag Off" . A seguire, dalle ore 23 si presentera un’occasione speciale per entrare in contatto con gli orsi, data da un gemellaggio con le due feste piu’ forti su territorio del centro nord che si uniranno in un unico abbraaccico per un party all’ultimo..pelo.

Here is some news that Tekfestival would like to propose to you for March 2007.

1. - First anticipations on Tekfestival 2007 programme.
2. - February 28th was the deadline for submissions to Tekfestival 6th edition. Many works have been submitted.
3. - On April 16th, Bears on Film in Bologna. A retrospective on the world of “Bears”.
4. - The campaign "Support your visions" and become a supporting Tekfestival member is still on.

1. We’re nearly there. We’re then able to offer you the first anticipations.
The next edition will screen about 70 works, spanning form documentary to narrative films. The festival is confirmed to comprise thematic sections and visual itineraries. Alongside some long-established events, some new themes, which confirm the “editorial policy” of the festival organisers, will be proposed, this year too. Places of Tekfestival ‘07. What’s new about this year edition is that screenings will take place in different locations across town. Two are the main screening venues: Cinema Farnese and Sala Trevi. Besides those, there will be other venues hosting “collateral events”: video installations, photo exhibitions, forums, and parties.

We are on schedule with two of the most significative events of this year edition:
* Wop – European screening on migration. This year, Tekfestival presents "Ursula Biemann. Geographies of migrant bodies".

2. On February 28th submissions to the two competition sections of this year edition closed: CONCORSO DOC, reserved to Italian documentary film-makers, and INTERNATIONAL CONCORSO DOC dedicated to the best international productions of the last two years.
Many the submissions to both competitions, and the standard is very high. On March 30th, we will officially announce the films selected.

Epicentro Ursino Romano presents "Bears on Film", a retrospective on the extraordinary world of Bears. A deep and multifaceted itinerary through a homosexual culture that deals with the definition, representation and de-symbolisation of the male gender through a series of aesthetical, cultural, social and sexual codes. The screening is the result of years-long activities within the queer section "Phag Off”.
Following, from 11 pm you will be presented with a special opportunity to get closer to bears, resulting from a partnership with two of the strongest parties in the North East that will come together in an exclusive embrace for a party until the last ...hair.
