An extraordinary portrait of New York, described as a big inventory of eras and cultures, and divided into seven blocks, as in the tradition of the biggest cinema “urban symphonies”. Cohen defines New York in its vertical perspectives and bare architectures, in which human presence is rarefied and time melts into an endless post-event anxiety. Poetic documentary, photographic suggestion and social portrait intermingle into an amazing composition.
