Built on a succeeding of archive images of children, in some desolate city during the ‘30s. Conceived as a promotional gimmick for a local cinema, the short film won the Best Experimental at N.Y. Film Festival in 2003 and the Gecko Award, Cinematexas 2004.

Vanessa Renwick è una filmmaker e video artista di Portland (Usa. ha realizzato molti lavori durante la sua carriera (ww.odoka.org)e vinto numerosi premi. Dal 2001 lavora spesso con Bill Daniel.Insieme hanno portato la loro arte in giro per il paese con un furgone come fanno di solito i cantanti folk. Vanessa (e Bill Daniel) ha impiegato gran parte della sua vita a guardare le cose che la maggior parte di noi non vuole vedere. I suoi film, video, fotografie o installazioni ritraggono prostitute, satanisti, animali selvaggi, antiabortisti in azione e strani artisti.

Vanessa Renwick is a Portland (Usa) based filmmaker and video artist. She realized many works during her career (www.odoka.org)winning many prizes.
Since 2001 she has been often working with Bill Daniel. They've toured their art like a couple of folk singers around the country. Vanessa (and Bill Daniel) have spent most of her live looking at the things that most of us won't. Her films, videos, photographs and installations include prostitutes, Satanists, wild animals, anti- abortion protestors, strange artists.
