The fall of the Berlin Wall spurred the public’s attention well beyond the borders of Germany. Indeed, it sparked a series of important changes in various Eastern European Communist countries.

To mark the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Wall, Tekfestival. At the border of the world…inside the West devotes a focus to this important historical moment. The project aims at highlighting the transformation of the memory of this event, and the ways in which it has been perceived in Italy as well as in Europe.

Will we always remember November 9, 1989?
