International competition is reserved to film made after the 1st of January 2007.

The doc competition, open to international productions, has the goal of promoting their works in italy.

You can submit documentaries made after the 1° January 2007.
The admission is free.
Selection is made by the Tekfestival organization
An international jury composed of cinema professionals will award the prize to one film.
The film must not be screened in Rome before the Tekfestival.

      You must apply by filling up the official entry form available on line. The entry form must be handed in along with a VHS or DVD of the film with english subtitles and at least two pictures taken from the film, the synopsis, the director’s biography and filmography, a picture of the director, a dialogue list, as well as any other documentation that could be useful for the selection of the works.
      The completed entries must be handed in by 31 January 2008.

SHIPPING RULES

The shipping costs of the material submitted to the selection are entirely at the expenses of the sender.
The material must be sent along with the following statement: "No commercial value, for cultural purposes only.”
The DVD and VHS submitted will not be returned. The Festival Archives reserves the right to acquire the material for screenings for promotional, educational and cultural non-profit purposes with the explicit authorization of the copyright holder.
Tekfestival will return the material at its own expenses.

Submitting work for selection automatically and unreservedly implies full acceptance of the above rules and regulations. Should any matter come into dispute, only the Italian version of the regulations will have force of law.
