EIN TRAUM IN ERDBEERFOLIE Marco Wilms, Germania/Germany, 2009, 84', HD Questo film è un viaggio nello stupefacente universo parallelo di stilisti e artisti maestri nell'arte della sopravvivenza creativa a Berlino Est. Durante le restrizioni della RDT, esisteva un milieu eversivo in cui era possibile sintonizzarsi su una diversa lunghezza d'onda, essere originali e provocatori. In questo universo parallelo stava all'individuo creare il proprio stile con le proprie mani. Il film racconta i desideri, le passioni i progetti vissuti e recitati all'ombra del Muro di Berlino. La stilista Sabine von Oettingen, il fotografo Robert Paris e lo stilista e parrucchiere Frank Schäfer si riuniscono ancora una volta in una festa sovversiva, quasi alla “blocco dell'Est”, organizzata da Marco Wilms. Il film è stato presentato durante l'ultima edizione della Berlinale. This film undertakes a journey into the amazing parallel universe of East Berlin's fashion designers and experts in the art of survival. For, in the midst of the constraints of life in the GDR, there existed a fantasy world where it was possible to dance to another tune, be individual and provocative. In this parallel universe it was up to you to create your own individual image with your own hands. This film tells the story of the desires, the passion and the dreams that were tried and tested, lived and performed in the shadow of the Berlin Wall. Designer Sabine von Oettingen, photographer Robert Paris and stylist and hairdresser Frank Schäfer come together once more at a subversive “Eastern bloc” party thrown by Marco Wilms, souvenir of the legendary East Berlin avant-garde “fashion theatre”. The film was selected in 2009 Berlin Film Festival. Marco Wilms, è nato a Berlino Est nel 1966. Studia Graphic Design e segue un corso per fare il modello. Dopo una formazione in Production Design presso la Film and Television Academy grazie a diverse borse di studio viene introdotto alla regia : HFF Konrad Wolf, Stiftung Kulturfonds Berlin, una borsa di studio in Thailandia per la German Academy; Discovery Campus, Master in regia presso la DEFA a Berlino. Tra i suoi film: The River of the Heart (2000), Berlin Vortex (2003), Tailor-made Dreams (2005). Marco Wilms, born in former East Berlin (GDR) in 1966. He completed apprenticeships as toolmaker, graphic designer and model, studied Production Design at the Film and Television Academy. He grants several scholarships in Film Direction (HFF Konrad Wolf Germany; Stiftung Kulturfonds Berlin; in Thailand from the German Academy; Discovery Campus; Masterclass Direction DEFA Berlin).
