La sua ragazza non crede possa essere così semplice, ponendogli interrogativi che lui non è in grado di sostenere. Il ragazzo decide di testimoniare a patto che la sua immagine non venga mostrata. Mentre Avi Moghrabi filma il ragazzo, cercando il modo giusto di nascondere la sua identità, mette in discussione la sua stessa posizione politica e la sua pratica artistica. An israeli ex-soldier who participated in a revenge operation where two Palestinian policemen were murdered seeks forgiveness for what he has done. His girlfriend does not think it is that simple, she raises issues he is yet not ready to address. The soldier willingly testifies for camera as long as his identity is not exposed. While the filmmaker keeps looking for the proper solution for concealing the soldier's identity he questions his own political and artistic conduct. Avi Moghrabi, nato in Israele nel 1956, è uno dei pochi registi israeliani a confrontarsi in modo critico con i miti e le pratiche della società israeliana, in particolare rispetto al conflitto israelo-palestinese attraverso film spesso sperimentali. Studia Filosofia all'Università di Tel Aviv e Arte presso la Ramat Hasharon Art School. Tra i suoi film principali: Mrs. Goldstein (2006), Avenge but one of my two eyes (presentato fuori concorso al Festival di Cannes nel 2005), Detail (Berlinale 2004), August (Berlinale 2002), Happy Birthday Mr. Mograbi (Berlinale 1999). Avi Moghrabi, born in Israel in 1956, is one of the few Israeli documentary filmmakers, who critically confronts with the myths and the believes of the Israeli society, especially in regard to the Israeli- Palestinian conflict, often through experimental films. Mograbi studied Philosophy at Tel Aviv University from 1979 to 1982, and Art at Ramat Hasharon Art School.
