 Pier Giorgio De Pinto, Italia/Italy, 2007, 6', Dv Versione studio del visual proiettato per il progetto “Divide by Zero” di Sifiro (aka Zafer Aracagök) nel centro universitario Manchester MU, Gran Bretagna per “The Deleuzian Event” e presso l’Università di Darmstadt, in Germania per “Spaces and Places: Tensions of a Paradigm”. Zafer Aracagök è un accademico e musicista che insegna Filosofia Continentale nella Università Bilkent di Ankara. Il video è basato sul lavoro di Gilles Deleuze e Félix Guattari focalizzandosi sulla teoria queer circa “un corpo non-identitario senza organi”. Zafer Aracagök is an academic/musician who teaches Continental Philosophy at Bilkent University, Ankara. The video is based on the work of Gilles Deleuze e Félix Guattari by focusing on queer theory as an anti-identitarian Body without Organs. Pier Giorgio De Pinto, è un artista multidisciplinare il cui lavoro è spesso basato su un singolo tema. Di solito i suoi progetti coinvolgono altri artisti, come musicisti, coreografi, artisti provenienti da diversi background culturali, stili e genere identitario. Grazie a queste collaborazioni ha la possibilità di realizzare nuovi progetti sperimentali e radicali che stimolano la discussione su stereotipi e pregiudizi ponendo domande scomode su cultura, politica e religione. Pier Giorgio De Pinto, is a cross discipline artist who's work is often theme based. Usually his projects involve other artists such as musicians, choreographers, performers from different cultural backgrounds, styles and genders. Thanks to these collaborations he has the possibility to show new experimental and radical projects that stimulate discussions on stereotypes and prejudices putting in his works uncomfortable questions about culture, politics and religion.
