 Juan Flahn, Spagna/Spain, 2007, 93', 35 mm Victor lavora in un'agenzia immobiliare nel quartiere della Chueca a Madrid. Victor nasconde anche un terribile segreto: uccide le vecchie signore che vivono negli appartamenti del quartiere per poi rivenderli, dopo averli ristrutturati, a coppie gay dall'alto reddito. Il suo obiettivo è trasformare Chueca in una versione spagnola di Soho. L'ultima vittima di Victor vive accanto ad una coppia gay, Ray e Leo. Ray eredita l'appartamento e lo regala alla madre Antonia, che trasferitasi nella casa del figlio si intromette nella sua relazione con Leo, che lei detesta. Le indagini dell'omicidio sono affidate all'ispettore Mila, una donna eccentrica e piena di fobie, e a suo figlio Luis. Nel frattempo Victor seduce Leo per avere l'occasione di entrare nell'appartamento e poter uccidere Antonia. Victor works is an estate agent in the Chueca district of Madrid. He hides a terrible secret: he makes apartments available for sale by murdering the old lady owners that live in them. He then refurbishes and decorates the flats to sell them to gay couples with high purchasing power. His ultimate objective is to transform Chueca into a kind of Soho. Victor’s latest victim appears in the apartment next door to gay couple, Ray and Leo. Ray inherits the flat from the victim and hands it over as a gift to Antonia, his mother. Antonia is always meddling in his relationship with Leo, whom she despises. Juan Flahn, nato a Castilla y Leon nel 1973, ha studiato all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Bilbao. Ha lavorato per la televisione come attore, sceneggiatore e regista. Ha realizzato numerosi cortometraggi. Chuecatown è il suo primo lungometraggio. Juan Flahn, was born in Castilla y Leon in 1973. He studied Fine Arts in Bilbao. He has acted, directed and written for TV and has directed a number of short films. Chuecatown is his first fiction feature film.
