Laurence Chanfro, scultrice, fotografa e videoartista con una formazione in Architettura, invita ad una presa di coscienza e ad una presa dei corpi. Partigiana dello sguardo e attratta dall'“iper-realtà”, indaga con una morbosità particolare i tabù più frequenti (religione, sessualità, emotività, vecchiaia), svelando le zone straniere che sono nel profondo delle nostre intimità e della società. Militante lesbica e femminista dal 1978, ideatrice e barwoman di un bar associativo lesbico a Marsiglia, prende parte a numerosi movimenti politici, collettivi e avvenimenti culturali. Laurence Chanfro, sculptor, photographer and video artist with an education in Architecture, invites you to a knowledge about bodies. Sight partisan and attracted to the "hyper-reality", she researches the most frequent taboos (religion, sexuality, emotionality, old age) with a peculiar lust, revealing foreign areas rooted in the depths of our intimacies and societies. Feminist and lesbian militant from 1978, she is the creator and barwoman of a lesbian bar in Marseille. She takes part to several political movements and cultural events.
