It's an ordinary day when Percy Sampaio Camargo, an university professor from the State University of São Paulo, was accused of terrorism. Today, at his 74, he recalls that far 1969 that completely changed his life in a few seconds. Exiled in Chile and then in Holland during the dictatorship years, he went back to Brazil after the amnesty in 1979. He was a candidate together with Lula for the Labour Party in 1982 and 1986 and afterwards he directed the advanced camp of UNESP (University of the State of São Paulo) in the Rondon project with indigenous people in the Amazon forest. 40 years later, indistinguishable among 20 million retired people, Percy narrates his extraordinary personal story, that most of the time mixes with the official history of Brazil, as if it could recover a fragment of lost memory. The film is a spoken diary of a country and a portray of a man that was destined to remain invisible but who, although sacrificing his family and his possessions, dedicated his entire life to an ideal of democracy and social justice.

César Meneghetti, is a Brazilian filmmaker and visual artist based in Rome. His work is centred on social issues, migration and the concept of borders, political, social and individual edges, the interaction with people and media between the North and South hemisphere. He uses the cinema medium as well as film, video, photography, painting and installation to give images a new approach to the world. Through the mix of various technical supports he uses these electronic/digital instruments to extract and isolate frames of reality and re-elaborate them in a new context. He has shown his art work in more than 39 countries around the world and has made about 60 films.
