La Storia s'annulla sotto un faro che riesuma due corpi durante un tentativo d'avvinghiamento: la vecchia pellicola rovinata รจ l'ennesima tortura inflitta ai due, un campo (di battaglia/concentramento) autoptico in cui la memoria รจ lavata via dalle lampate del temporale che riportano alle attuali transumanze. Sonderbehandlung รจ un termine utilizzato dalle SS, che significa trattamento speciale, e indicava la morte nelle camere a gas (Georges Didi-Huberman, Immagini malgrado tutto, 2005).

Nel 2003 Il nido ha ricevuto una menzione speciale al Torino Film Festival e nel 2004 All'erta! ha vinto il Premio Shortvillage alla Mostra Internazionale del Nuovo Cinema di Pesaro che nel 2005 gli ha dedicato una retrospettiva. Attualmente รจ impegnato con il suo primo lungometraggio dal titolo I resti di Bisanzio e contemporaneamente sta realizzando la collana di documentari Intramoenia Extrart, progetto d'arte contemporanea nei castelli di Puglia curato da A. Bonito Oliva, G. Caroppo e R. Meucci Reale.
Carlo Michele Schirinzi, born in Acquarica del Capo (Lecce) in 1974, is a videomaker and artist. In 2003 Il nido received a special mention at Torino Film Festival and in 2004 All'erta! won the Shortvillage Award at the Pesaro Film Festival, which devoted him a retrospective in 2005. Currently he is busy with his first feature film, I resti di Bisanzio, and he works on a series of documentaries, Intramoenia Extrart, a contemporary art projects in the Apulia's castles, curated by A. Bonito Oliva, G. Caroppo and R. Meucci Reale.
