Grazie alla più recente tecnologia di sorveglianza della società satellitare internazionale osserviamo Arend, Leon e Ton: tre gentiluomini olandesi, che si relazionano quotidianamente alla droga illegale cocaina per 24 ore al giorno, 7 giorni su 7. Ognuno di essi lo fa da una prospettiva differente, sia essa visuale, orale o cognitiva, sospettata perseguita e perpetrata. Cosa succede alla tua vita quando sei un sospettato? Quanto è sospettata la stessa superiorità dell'informazione? E chi sorveglia la sorveglianza?
With the latest public surveillance technology of international satellite society we observe Arend, Leon and Ton: Dutch gentlemen that relate 24/7 to the illegal drug cocaine on a daily basis. Each from a different perspective; Visual, Oral and Cognitive, suspected, persecute and perpetrated. What happens to your life when you are suspect? How suspected is the information superiority itself? And who surveys the surveillance?
Jeanette Groenendaal, nata nel 1964, artista nel campo dei nuovi media, lavora e vive ad Amsterdam. Dal 2001 al 2004 è stata redattrice, ricercatrice e produttrice per la Tv culturale Bellissima di Amsterdam. Dal 1994 lavora in collaborazione con Zoot Darks come ZootenGenant.
Jeanette Groenendaal, born in 1964, new media performer, lives and works in Amsterdam. From 2001 to 2004 she was editor, researcher and producer at Bellissima, a weekly Cultural tv, Amsterdam.
From 1994 Jeanette Groenendaal has been working in collaboration with Zoot Derks as ZootenGenant.
