Three women on the run, saving each other, saving themselves...On Christmas Eve, Francesca's little sister, Antonietta, runs away to Rotterdam with her musician boyfriend. On the way to find her, Francesca picks up Gerlinde, a suicidal lovesick woman. Now she has two lives to save, but is hard to tell who is saving whom. Angelina Maccarone, was born in Germany in 1965. Since 1995 she has written and directed several feature films: in 2005 Fremde Haut (Unveiled), which won several prizes including the Jury Grand Prix at the Montreal Film Festival and the Best Film and Best Direction Awards at Cyprus Festival; in 2006 Verfolgt (Hounded), which won the Golden Leopard for Filmmakers of the Present at Locarno 2006. Vivere, for which she has been working together with Judith Kaufmann as in Unveiled, is her 6th movie and was presented at Tribeca Film Festival 2007.
