It presents the screening of the latest independent and social film production and hosts many international premieres.
The 5th edition will take place in May 2006.
The project supporting the festival follows four main principles:
it offers the Italian audience a showcase of the latest and best international productions; it promotes the circulation and the visibility of the Italian social documentary; it encourages the audience to participate in the programme through the meeting with authors and women authors; it contributes to the spreading of documentaries through the annual release of one of the festival works on DVD.
The festival lasts six days and gathers each year about four thousand people.
The programme consists of thematic sections and “visual paths”: along with some well known events, every year new themes are proposed to testify the “line of action” of the Tekfestival management team.
