From December 1st 2006 submissions are open for the 6th edition of the Tekfestival “At the border of the world...inside the West”, the international showcase of independent and social film.
In May 2007 we invite you to take part in a journey around the most compelling scenarios of our time through wide-extensive works and significant everyday life stories.
Our selection of movies will screen migrations and transits, the world in the era of permanent war, the art of joy and resistance, the effects of globalization, the relationship between the media and collective identities and much more.
This year there will be 2 competitive sections: the Doc competition open to Italian documentaries, and for the first time, the international documentary competition, aimed at the best international productions made over the past 2 years.
The deadline for submitting a film is february 28th 2007.
